Title: | SHORT RISETIME ELECTRIC PULSE SYSTEM FOR STUDYING SEMICONDUCTOR LASER TRANSIENTS. | Authors: | Chua, S.J. Chong, T.C. |
Issue Date: | 1984 | Citation: | Chua, S.J.,Chong, T.C. (1984). SHORT RISETIME ELECTRIC PULSE SYSTEM FOR STUDYING SEMICONDUCTOR LASER TRANSIENTS.. Engineering Journal of Singapore 11 (1) : 3-6. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | Electrical pulses of very short risetime ( less than 500 ps) with adjustable amplitudes to as high as 400v, variable pulse duration and a repetition rate of up to 210 Hz are obtained from a simple pulse system using a charged delay line and a mercury wetted reed switch. The system provides a simple scheme for the study of dynamic behaviors of high threshold, high power laser diodes, as well as for picosecond optical pulse generation. | Source Title: | Engineering Journal of Singapore | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/62758 | ISSN: | 01296531 |
