ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||This paper deals with the design of a force-controlled clamping element to be applied for intelligent fixturing with the aim to minimise workpiece deformation and distortion under a machining operation. An electro-mechanically controlled clamp is designed, fabricated and tested.
