Title: | A digital shearing speckle interferometry technique for modal analysis | Authors: | Ng, T.W. Chau, F.S. |
Issue Date: | 1994 | Citation: | Ng, T.W., Chau, F.S. (1994). A digital shearing speckle interferometry technique for modal analysis. Applied Acoustics 42 (2) : 175-185. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | Digital shearing speckle interferometry is a laser-based, optical, non-contacting and non-destructive method widely used for the stress and strain analysis of loaded static objects. In this paper, the authors have adapted the technique for whole-field modal analysis. The theoretical basis for this technique is presented and experimental verification is performed on a thin square plate fully constrained and subjected to a steady-state excitation. © 1994. | Source Title: | Applied Acoustics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/54069 | ISSN: | 0003682X |
