ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1007/BF00619933||Abstract:||The behaviour of a semiconductor laser in which two photon modes exist above threshold is analysed using the rate equations. This paper classifies the different qualitative behaviour of mode competition by using a single parameter γ.
