dc.description.abstractSome comments are given on the experimental conditions in two recent communications in this journal which deal with copper corrosion in water. Also some additional experimental information and thermodynamic considerations on a possible hydrogen release from copper in water is given, including a very simple and straightforward experiment. © 1989.
