The results, based on an analysis of 514 research articles, show that the journal has evolved from a focus on the TV medium to newer media such as online platforms and social network analysis. The research published in the JOC in the past 12 years shares a common media theme, and each period made unique contributions to the journal. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.||Source Title:||Lecture Notes in Computer Science (including subseries Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence and Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics)||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/52058||ISBN:||9783642347511||ISSN:||03029743||DOI:||10.1007/978-3-642-34752-8_53|
