ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||By examining the relationship between the distribution of errors and the input-redundancy weight enumerating function (IRWEF) of the codes, an approximate formula to compute the error spectrum of linear block codes was derived. Numerical results confirm that the given expression is a promising tool to analyze the error distribution of linear block codes.
