dc.description.abstractA robust invisible watermarking algorithm for 3D volume data based on the spread-spectrum communication technique was reported. The robustness and invisible property of the algorithm was verified by using skull dataset and tomato datasets. It was noticed that the resultant watermarked volume of the algorithm, after examining the watermarked volume after volume rendering, was perceptually indistinguishable from the original. Experiments using same watermark signal sequence with different attacking strengths were conducted to examine relationship between the robustness of embedded watermark. The distortion caused by the attacks was measured in terms of SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) and PSNR (Peak-Signal-to-Noise Ratio).
