Spatial correlations between wavelet coefficients were studied by replacing the thresholding process with a diffusion process. Coplanar matrices were used to study the spatial correlations of wavelet transforms. It was found that diffusion process can distinguish and suppress noise more effectively than thresholding process.||Source Title:||IEEE International Conference on Image Processing||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/40221|
