ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | The present invention provides methods of immobilizing proteins onto a support, using a cellular expression system or a cell-free expression system, to attach a ligand to the C-terminus of the protein, by an intein-mediated or a puromycin-mediated approach. A method for improving the efficiency of intein-mediated ligand attachment is also provided.
