Abstract: The present study deals with the adsorption and desorption of Hg(II), Pb(II) and Cd(II) on nano-magnetic particles surface functionalized by different polymeric materials such as pendent amines, polyamine dendrimer, poly-acrylic acid and polyvinylpyrollidone. The maximum adsorption for Hg(II), Pb(II) and Cd(II) were 450 mg/g, 270 mg/g and 102 mg/g respectively.
