This user experience design thesis study explores how Singapore’s domestic tourist user experience may be enhanced through supporting social interactions for domestic cultural tourists in Singapore. This study employed practice-based design thinking methodology including user research and iterative prototyping through user testings to generate a final high-fidelity Figma prototype. This study delves into concepts of network communities and network learning to enhance the user experience of cultural domestic tourism, with findings supporting existing literature emphasising personalisation and account-based features to establish online identities crucial for network community dynamics.
