dc.description.abstract | Lithium (Li) metal solid-state batteries feature high energy density and improved safety, thus are recognized as promising alternatives to traditional Li-ion batteries. In practice, the utilization of Li metal anode remains challenging because of the lack of superionic solid electrolytes that have good stability against reduction decomposition at the anode side. Here, we propose a new electrolyte design with an anti-structure (as compared to conventional inorganic structures) to achieve intrinsic thermodynamical stability with Li metal anode. | |
