Unlike smoking-related non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLCs), oncogene-driven NSCLCs are often characterized by low mutational burdens and complex genomic landscapes. However, the clonal architecture and genomic landscape of the oncogene-driven NSCLCs in smokers remain unknown. This thesis addresses an in-depth investigation of the impact of tobacco smoking on genomic and transcriptomic alterations by studying multi-regional exome and transcriptome data from 48 patients with NSCLCs.
