dc.description.abstract | Based on the theory of conceptual metaphor, this paper discusses the semantic expansion models of the verbs “Lai” and “Qu” in modern Chinese. After the analysis of the sentences in corpus, we fine the model of “Lai” and “Qu” are in the structural metaphor, ontological metaphor and orientation metaphor. The explanation of the polysemy from the metaphor model in cognitive linguistics not only enriches the study of language, but also provides some reference for the second language learners to learn Chinese. | |
