dc.description.abstract | Nanoplastics pollution is an emerging environmental issue and there are many concerns on determining the scale and distribution of nanoplastics in the environment. Potential solutions, or lack of it, for this growing problem in natural environment have recently attracted research interest. This thesis covered a few current issues related to selection of various models, comparing the impact of different polymers under identical conditions, understanding the mechanism of maternal transfer and synergistic impact of polymer, and absorbed pollutants to provide some interesting data and directions for future research on exploring the impact of microplastic and nanoplastic pollution. | |
