TECHNOPRENEUR PARKS-ISSUES FOR SINGAPORE STRATEGIC ACTION PLAN AGAINST OTHER LOWER COSTS MARKETS

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analysis and to propose ways of how Singapore can continue to participate as one of the world leading technopreneur hubs as compared to lower costs markets such as India and China. Results from interviews and surveys show that to attract more local and international businesses to set up their Headquarters in technopreneur parks, the requisites are not in the hands of the Techopreneur Parks, but of Governments and legislators. The recommendations are Promotion and public image of Singapore's Technopreneur Parks, Strategic Alliance with India and China, enhancing Singapore's investment climate.
