This project has targeted to reduce the impact of our built environment by showing creative solutions through unique counteract that reduces high amount of waste generated by our communities and at the same time, response sustainably to the hot and humid tropical climate. This project has considered an extensive range of reusing waste strategies for the building fayade and roof systems that can be flexibly deployed in the hot and humid tropical zone. It is also an intervention that can greatly reduce wastages and unnecessary fabrication processes that are harmful to our deteriorating environment. The system designed in this project is a breakaway from our convention Fayade & Roof system. It can greatly reduce the dependency of air-conditioning systems in the tropical zone, and conversely it can reduce the burning of fuels for energy required for operating air-conditioning system. The above are made possible by adopting a range of unique strategies and flexible techniques to reduce overall construction time, cost, wastage through the use of innovative methods in design and during fabrication and construction.
