ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | This involves the comparison Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) perception and comfort levels between a small and large lecture room. Selected IEQ parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. It focuses on investigating the difference in occupant indoor environmental quality comfort levels in a small and large lecture theatre in SDE3. Objective and subjective measurements were conducted to investigate the existing IEQ performance of the lecture rooms and to understand occupants’ perception and satisfaction of the comfort levels in institutional lecture rooms. The purpose of this study is to compare occupants IEQ perception and comfort levels in a small and a large lecture room. An objective and subjective analysis was conducted between sensor box data and survey feedbacks. A discussion of the results analysis, limitations and recommendations was also provided in this study to further improve the Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) of lecture rooms in institutional buildings. | URI: | https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/223159 |
