Abstract: The increase privatisation of public space limits the potential usage of space and range of activities. Though contemporary public architecture embodies public space within its development, the lack of diverse programmes fails to engage diverse groups of people. Therefore, instead of creating individual ‘star’ architecture that scream for attention, a collection of architecture has the potential to create a shared common platform that serves as a melting pot for cultural exchange and encourage collective action.
