Issue Date: | 5-Jun-2017 | Citation: | LEE MUN LOONG JUSTIN (2017-06-05). MAINTAINABILITY OF INDOOR VERTICAL GREENERY IN SINGAPORE. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | In recent years, Singapore has witnessed an increase in vertical greenery on the facades of many different buildings and infrastructure. However, another aspect of vertical greenery, more specifically indoor vertical greenery, has not seen an equivalent rise. In spite of the evident concrete advantages of installing indoor vertical greenery, key factors such as the lack of knowledge and expertise regarding the functionalities, operations and maintainability are reasons why indoor vertical greenery is still less commonly seen in Singapore. As such, a more in-depth analysis on what adopting an indoor vertical greenery system entails would no doubt aid massively in informing developers in Singapore and to positively boost their confidence in utilising one. | URI: | https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/222857 |
