Abstract: The purpose of this research is to explore 3D modelling software use as a solution for better quality event planning. The research draws upon local and overseas events at their primary sources that include recounts and event reviews from companies. From those accounts, barriers to entry, advantages and disadvantages are extracted. Processes from each case study are looked at in greater detail; inefficiencies are identified. Software available locally are compared, resulting in a recommended software solution, training, investment needed to cumulate in a workflow process that can be acted upon at this stage of the event planning industry.
