Issue Date: | 26-Feb-2011 | Citation: | POH HUI SHAN (2011-02-26). CLASSIFICATION OF INTELLIGENT BUILDINGS. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | There is increasing demand for office space while supply is limited. Building rentals are broadly categorized solely based on their locations, neglecting the quality of the intelligent characteristics inside. This study strives to rate the buildings to show that other factors can be accountable for rental and present technology can satisfy the intelligent criteria. Sick building syndrome is a phenomenon around the world, caused by problems inside the building. Tenants are the ultimate end users of building so the rating will be set out to satisfy the senses of people as well as to cater to their physiological and psychological needs. The overall goal of rating is to provide a working environment that increases productivity. | URI: | https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/222756 |
