dc.description.abstractIn the recent years, Singapore have been boosting its sporting scene to the international level. With the completion of The Sport Hub, Singapore will soon be the hub of many international sporting events. Athletes from all around the world with different climatic zone would be participating in these events. However, many of these athletes are placed in local hotels and hostel where gym are usually indoors or far away from their main fitness training ground making it difficult for these athletes attain fitness and acclimatization to the local tropical climate on a daily basis. Through research of the current accommodation, the type of environment for fitness training and athletes basic needs, this thesis aim to suggest suitable accommodation for these athletes and local sports enthusiasts during and after major competition period.
