dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this research paper is to prove what advantages can be gained from implementing innovative technologies for construction site management. The construction site management discussed in the research paper includes site organization, workplace health and safety, material controlling and managing, communication as well as construction surveillance and security. In this paper, research and interviews are conducted to analyze the current problem of site management and to strategize planning to recommend effective and efficient site management. Data are gathered through literature reviews from online secondary sources and interviews from construction company and surveillance and security company what are the problems they encounter for site management as well as what are the available technologies that are implemented on sites to facilitate site management. Researched data are analyzed and it was concluded that the top most important aspect of site management are: (1) workplace health and safety, (2) material controlling and managing, (3) site communication and (4) construction surveillance and security. Recommendations are suggested that are to be implemented on construction site, such that it helps to better manage the site. The recommendations (1) installing of CCTV surveillance system, (2) implementing RFID door access system, (3) introducing biometric time attendance, (4) installing of automatic gate, (5) implementing ERP system for communication and (5) introducing personnel locator system. However, there are setbacks for the recommendations, but various solutions are discussed in this report, such as obtaining subsidiary grants from the Government. This research paper has various limitations, thus further research studies can be undertaken to refine the research done.
