dc.description.abstract | The proposed topic for research is “Role of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) Pakistan for Sustainability”. The research regarding above mentioned topic focuses on the environmental performance of a leading company in Pakistan in Oil and Gas exploration and production. However, the environmental laws and regulations regarding industries are also briefly discussed. Other than this, the environmental information about some other Pakistan based national and multinational companies are described. In addition, the drivers for environmental management in terms of the environmental performance of companies are also addressed. All the research in this report presents the environmental performance, business strategies and implementation of the environmental laws of Pakistan on Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) Pakistan. Other than this, the environmental performance of ODGCL is compared with some other Pakistan based national and multi-national Oil and Gas companies in terms of environmental reports and ISO certifications. Finally, it also suggests that how an oil and gas company can promotes its business in market competition by acquiring the sustainable and environmental strategies. However this research may also create the opportunities for those companies, which are not considering the environment as a key component of successful business and sustainable development | |
