dc.description.abstractThe objectives of this dissertation is study the housing situation of foreign workers in Singapore in particular targeting the group of working professionals who will be concentrated in the Central Business District. The dissertation aims to provide a study on whether the high housing prices in the CBD are mainly due the fact that the houses are located in close proximity to the city centre workplace and other reasons will be factored in to show the reasons for the steep prices in the housing in the CBD. The introduction will give an overview of what the dissertation will seek to address and the objectives of the hypothesis being devised and the motivations for the decision to do this research topic and the rationale for doing so. The next following sections will highlight the research design as well as the methods of data collection used to provide supporting evidence for the study The results and the discussion will be discussed next before the conclusion will sum the entire dissertation up in a few sentences.
