This study was designed to investigate the level of environmental literacy in a Singapore secondary school. The aspects of knowledge, attitudes and behaviours among learners in environmental education in schools today provide important information for advancing environmental education tomorrow. This study sought to establish baseline information that will shape recommendations on how environmental education can play a more focal role within a school curriculum, especially within Singapore’s education system where there is an renewed emphasis on 21st Century learners’ competency skills and Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) in schools. A sample size of seventy four Secondary three students participated in this survey discussing the three aspects mentioned earlier. The results was analysed using SPSS software. The results showed that students who showed high environmental knowledge and attitude are more likely to engage in certain environmental-friendly behaviours.
