ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | The study examines the relationship of tenant characteristics and its influence on the locational behavior of retailers from major shopping malls in Singapore. It investigates the tenant characteristics comprising of tenant’s nature and tenant’s retail trade and their strength of influence on the locational behaviors and patterns of retailers. The study also seeks to explain the reasons pertaining to the different locational behaviors observed. The different test results derived from quantitative research showed that tenant characteristics do have an influence on the locational behaviors of retailers albeit a weak one influenced by the idiosyncratic conditions of Singapore. | URI: | https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/220022 |
