dc.description.abstractFacilities Management, commonly abbreviated as FM, is a fairly new business and management discipline. Facilities Management is the management of built facilities or the physical workplace and services to support its organization’s core business activities and goals. It aims to integrate the built facilities, their occupants, and purposes as well as the relevant processes and technology to achieve the building’s optimal functionality, in the safest, most productive and efficient way. This requires multiple disciplines, skills and technology. The objective of the study is to show how Facilities Management can actively help to reduce the number of work related fatalities and the roles of Facilities Management can actively contributes in relations to Workplace Safety and Health towards building a safe and healthy workplace. The research method is based on survey questionnaire developed from pilot study. Targeted interviewers shall be in the Professional related industrial to solicit their opinion and recommendation in order to improve the standard of workplace safety and health in the built facilities.
