dc.description.abstract | Limited research exists locally and abroad to dynamically model the structure between the public housing sector and the wider macroeconomy. The study is able to investigate this connection in further depth through the formulation of a dynamic structural public housing macroeconomic (DSPHM) model within the context of Singapore. The DSPHM provides an indepth structure of key macroeconomic factors, actual and expected, that affect the demand for new public housing sold. Through scenario analysis, the DSPHM model examines the policy implications for public housing demand in the long run. | |
