dc.description.abstract | This thesis proposes novel and advanced optical image encryption and authentication schemes based on ghost imaging (GI) for overcoming the drawbacks of GI technique. The efficiency of key transmission or storage of the cryptosystems based on GI has been enhanced by the proposed variable-distance GI and innovative block-processing technique. Meanwhile, cryptoanalysis on existing optical cryptosystems based on interference is conducted, and attacks to the existing interference-based cryptosystems are proposed. In addition, an enhanced interference-based cryptosystem is also proposed. | |
