dc.description.abstract | In this paper, the study of person deixis is carried out in extemporaneous discourse. We divide the context of impromptu discourse into real scene and virtual scene. When the speaker locates the deixis center in different scene, the person deixis system will change accordingly, which provides a variety of choices for the speaker to use person deixis to convey information. The speakers choose different uses of personal deixis to achieve certain communicative purposes, which mainly include two kinds: one is to make their own words easier to understand; the other is to make the hearer more willing to accept their own words and continue to talk. | |
