dc.description.abstract | The thesis work aims to obtain graphene and related materials via laser-assisted growth and to utilize them for optical and electronic applications. Laser ablation for the synthesis of high-quality few-layer graphene and pulsed laser deposition technique to grow wafer-scale rGO thin films (~5 nm) having high transmittance (~98% at 550 nm) and p-type electrical conductivity (~7000 S/m) with a high figure of merit (~1700 M/Ω), which is a significant advancement as compared to previous studies. | |
