This paper may be of interest to those working in the field of operational research, It shows how simulation can be used to advantage where the use of queueing models may involve difficulties, Chapter 1 gives a review of some queueing models, Readers will require some fundamental knowledge of differential and integral calculus. Chapter 2 introduces simulation methods. These involve the use of statistics. Chapter 3 gives some illustrations of the use of different types of simulation in various queueing systems. The third illustration has been verified by practical calculation.
