dc.description.abstract | The paradox of Protestantism involves the church and the individual; the organising unity and the inherent diversity. The church in Protestantism is not viewed as a formal organisation, but it is the mechanism that Protestants maintain their faith. Singapore is a multi-religious country. Yet on the one hand, Protestants draw a division between themselves and other religionists, on the other hand, they tolerate their own diversity. How Protestants deal with their situation and maintain their religious faith is explored in this study. | |
