dc.description.abstractMeasuring phase in the ultra high and microwave range af frequencies has always been an exciting challenge. This report outlines the steps taken in the design and construction of a phase measuring system. Prior to the designing stage, the many methods and techniques of phase measurement in this range of frequencies are reviewed. The steps involved in the interfacing of the phase measuring system with the automatic pattern plotter is also included. And finally the measuring system was used to determine the position of the phase centre of an antenna.
