Abstract

To some extent the function of language is the expression of emotion and meaning. language is the embodiment of human cognition ability, and the formation and application of language promotes the development of cognitive ability. The cognitive domain is the domain formed when people recognize the bjective world. The formation and development of domain is a unique cognitive mode of human beings, and there are basic and complex points between different domains. A space domain is a more basic domain than a time domain. This paper attempts to explore the cognitive law of semantic evolution from the evolution of verbs expressing spatial motion.
