Title: | CASE STUDIES IN LEASE MANAGEMENT | Authors: | GOH CHAI KHIM | Issue Date: | 1984 | Citation: | GOH CHAI KHIM (1984). CASE STUDIES IN LEASE MANAGEMENT. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | Lease management is a specialisation within the broad field of property management, which plays a vital role in the overall management of a commercial or residential building. In the local context, due to a lack of understanding of the profession, there is no general acceptance of the fact that lease management requires special training and education. This has encouraged the writer to undertake this dissertation in order to dispel these misconceptions as well as to throw light on the field of lease management. The dissertation stresses the knowledge and skills that the property manager will need in the performanca of his duties. They are broadly categorised into four functions, namely, marketing, renting, lease and lease negotiation and tenant administration. A detailed discussion on each function is aimed at giving a review of the various principles and technical information required in present-day lease management of office buildings. | URI: | https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/164096 |
