dc.description.abstract | Materials with versatile applications are in demand to challenge a range of problems, which span from environmental to healthcare. This study aims at developing a versatile hydrogel platform based on β-CD which can be applied for environmental and healthcare applications. First, this hydrogel platform can be used as an adsorbent for micropollutant to challenge the environmental problem of organic micropollutant contamination in water. Secondly, the same hydrogel platform can be utilized for healthcare applications, to capture and release cancer cells. | |
