dc.description.abstract | The growing importance of High Technology industries in the economy entails a closer examination of the physical accommodation available to them. While it was envisaged that the inherent changes in the industrial structure toward advance technology spell changes in the industrial property market, the extent of change was not known. The survey revealed that there need not be a revolutionary change. Nevertheless, there is a failure to meet a growing demand for a new style of accomodation. Coupled with the financial appraisal of a scheme of High Technology property development, the study indicated an effective market for ventures which can cater for the needs of today's high growth, high risk and high technological firms. | |
