Abstract: This is a morphological and taxonomical study of Alstonia and Dyera (Apocynaceae) in Singapore. Different architectures of their growth form are discussed. Results of external morphological and anatomical studies made on the stem, leaf, inflorescence , flower, fruit and seed of the species are presented. Taxonomic treatment consists of keys to and descriptions of the genera and species. Weekly observations on their leaf-fall, flowering and fruiting are recorded.
