Feasibility analysis is a test of whether there is a reason¬able likelihood that a selected course of action will be possible in the context of specific constraints. With the expanding scale and complexity of real estate development, successful development planning is now a challenge involving interdisciplinary professional input and coordination. This calls for sound market and financial analysis, planning, design, promotion and management expertise at different levels. This study attempts to provide a basic understanding of the feasibility analysis process and to illustrate its use with various modern techniques available in a property development context by way of a case study.
