Abstract: This thesis presents the results in the analysis and design of a conceptual modelfor management of identities and their inter-relationships for a pervasive computingplatform in a future all-IPv6 integrated network. We show how it meets privacyrequirements, enables the management of identities, and leverages them to makedeploying and composing services in such networks easier. The modela??s usage isdescribed in the context of a i??exible authentication and authorization framework. The frameworka??s use and implmentation in order to achieve privacy is described. We conclude with a discussion of related efforts, and their comparison with ourframework.
