Abstract: This thesis studies schemes of realizing high-order topological phases in periodically driven (Floquet) systems. The static topological classification theory based on non-spacial symmetries is discussed. It provides an insight into the connection between the first-order and the higher-order phases. With Floquet theory, we extend static results to time-periodic system and design a driving protocol that generates exotic high-order topological phases. We find that the phases present in Floquet systems are much more enriched than static systems. For illustration purpose, a numerical result hosting multiple Floquet corner states is presented. Because the driving protocol we introduced in this thesis can be generally applied to various topological classes, it is valuable for further study.
