dc.description.abstractThis thesis studies the interplay between non-equilibrium thermodynamics and quantum information. I have demonstrated fundamental theorems which link quantum information and non-equilibrium thermodynamic quantities in a quantum bipartite system. I explain the details of these theorems, such as fluctuation theorems and their corresponding thermodynamic equations. I also present an experimental realization of the theorems.
