dc.description.abstractA crystalline compound and six white solids were isolated from the seeds of Uncaria Gambier. The crystalline compound was found to β-sitosterol (C29H50O) and one of the white solids was found to be 7 α-acetoxydihydronomilin, c30H38O10 which had been isolated from the same plant and its structure had been established earlier. Interpretations of the spectroscopic data recorded for these solids are presented in the report
