|Title:||CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF STACHYTARPHETA JAMAICENSIS||Authors:||CHOO LAN HIONG||Issue Date:||1973||Citation:||CHOO LAN HIONG (1973). CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF STACHYTARPHETA JAMAICENSIS. ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||Stachytarpheta jamaicensis and Stachytarpheta indica , each of which is a species of the Verbenaceae family, have been shown to consist of several types of alkaloids. The distributions of alkaloids in these species have been compared by using thin layer chromatography. Only one of the alkaloids present in the plant of Stachytarpheta jamaicensis had been isolated in crystalline form. However, due to the minute amount present, only the IR and UV spectra were taken and further identification of the compound is thus impossible||URI:||https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/153163|
