Abstract: The activities of macrocyclic ligands 5, 14-dihydrodibenzo-[b, i] [1,4,8,11]tetraazacyclotetradecine (TADA-H2) and 5,9,14,18-tetrahydrodibenzo [b, i] [1,4,8 ,1] tetraazacyclotetradecine (TADA-H4 ) on the oxidation of natural rubber catalyzed by several metallic ions were evaluated by differential scanning Calorimetry. TADA-H2 and TADA-H4 showed antioxidant activity and were able to suppress oxidation catalyzed by copper, iron, cobalt and manganese ions to a certain extent, However, the effectiveness of TADA-H2 and TADA-H4 as metallic ion deactivators were not as good as 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (cyclam)
