Description: 

This study is a refinement to the Makan Index 2016. Three types of eating places (i.e. coffee shops, hawker centres and food courts) were visited between the period from March to June 2017. Prices of five food items were used in the computation of the Makan Index. They are, namely, economic rice (2V1M), chicken rice, mee rebus, kopi-O and iced milo.
